2026 제5회 제주비엔날레 허끄곡 모닥치곡 이야홍 : 변용의 기술

This 5th edition explores how civilizations in Jeju formed through influences from southern seas and northern lands, dispersed and transformed over time. Through three major exhibitions, the Biennial examines volcanic basalt and Jeju's stone culture, reinterprets the aesthetics of exiled calligrapher Chusa through a contemporary lens, and celebrates Jeju's pluralistic spirituality and inclusivity through its shamanic traditions. It presents a vision of survival modes and aesthetics woven together by nature, objects, and human life.
