🎟️ How to book — Melon Ticket
- 1
Sign up through Kakao — Melon has no account system of its own
On ticket.melon.com, the "회원가입" (sign up) link goes straight to accounts.kakao.com: every Melon account is a Kakao account. Pick "I have an email account" (or "카카오계정 만들기" / "Create a Kakao account" if you don't have one) — signup is by email, the flow is available in English, and no Korean phone number is asked for at this step.
- 2
Watch for Korean-only verification (PASS)
Once your Kakao account exists, high-demand sales (comebacks, fan meetings) can still require Korean identity verification through the PASS app, which needs a Korean resident registration number. Check the event page for "본인인증" (identity verification) before counting on a spot.
- 3
Use the global sale when one exists
If PASS verification is required, look for a "Global sale" tab or window — more international tours are adding one — or go through an authorized reseller listed on the artist's official site.
- 4
Pay by international card
International Visa/Mastercard works on most global sales once your seats are selected.
💡 Good to know
Once you're logged in, the Melon Ticket site itself is still almost entirely in Korean: use your phone's screen translation for the seat-selection and payment steps — their labels aren't translated.
