Boeun Hoein Heritage Night
보은회인 국가유산야행
This nighttime heritage festival celebrates the cultural patrimony of Hoein village through immersive experiences. At the heart of the event is a tale of the goblin Pibanryeong descending to the village to invite visitors into a world of mystery and play. Participants explore local historic sites including the Insan magistrate's residence, the magistrate's pavilion, and Hoein Confucian school while witnessing magistrate processions, traditional ceremonies, storytelling performances, folk games, and demonstrations of intangible cultural heritage. Moonlit pathways are enhanced with illuminated heritage landscapes, calligraphy and natural dye workshops, family activities, and photo zones. Visitors stroll through the village discovering its history and living culture while sharing the stories and heritage values with local residents beneath the night sky.
