The 2026 Wonsan Yahaeng highlights the region's heritage sites and presents eight thematic nighttime programs. Over three days from September 4-6, 2026, visitors explore Wonsan's history through three key figures: rebel general Minkung-ho, poet Jeong Cheol, and Queen Inyeol. Activities include drone shows, heritage illuminations, immersive theater, historical plays, classical concerts, musicals, and lectures, alongside hands-on experiences with official courtyard lanterns, stamp rallies, hanbok try-ons, and rickshaw photo zones. A night market, craft workshops, traditional games, themed taverns, local food tastings, and even immersive lodging experiences round out the program.
