This October 2026 nocturnal festival celebrates Jeonju's thousand-year heritage as the birthplace of Joseon and former capital of Later Baekje, across its historic hanok village, Gyeonggi Hall, provincial governor's complex, and Pungnam Gate. Eight domains of expertise—light, heritage, storytelling, visual arts, performance, travel, cuisine, and markets—showcase diverse programs: illuminated heritage spaces and media installations, interactive heritage competitions and quests, grand citizen parades, guided history walks, traditional and contemporary musical performances, craft workshops, youth flea markets, and culinary experiences. Visitors engage immersively with Jeonju's rich history through experiential content that brings both ancient and recent histories to life.
