The Jeonju National Heritage Night Promenade celebrates one thousand years of the city's history as a former Baekje capital and the cradle of the Joseon dynasty, running October 2–3, 2026, with the theme « A Thousand-Year-Old Capital, An Evening Stroll Through History. » Held across the hanok village, Gyeongbokgung Palace, the provincial government building, and Pungnam Gate, the festival features eight categories of performances, experiences, exhibitions, and guided tours. Visitors encounter illuminated heritage sites, large-scale parades, interactive quizzes, stamp tours exploring lost Baekje, healing sessions with singing bowls, board games, performances of traditional music, and hands-on food and craft experiences that bring Jeonju's layered past to life.
