The World Heritage Festival celebrates humanity's shared cultural legacy through contemporary interpretation and immersive experiences. Spanning UNESCO sites across Korea, the festival combines performances, workshops, exhibitions, and seminars. In 2026, the seventh edition focuses on the Gaya royal tombs (August–September, across seven locations in Gyeongnam and Jeolla), Jeju's volcanic landscape and lava caves (October), and three Andong heritage sites (October): mountain monasteries, historic villages, and Confucian academies. Visitors explore Korea's rich legacy through archaeology, night tours, scholarly lectures, and hands-on cultural activities.
