Marking its 35th anniversary, the Cheorin Cultural Festival commemorates the 1232 victory against the Mongols and the ancestral spirit of sacrifice. The program features a musical about the Battle of Cheorin, mounted archery demonstrations, taekwondo and sword performances, classical and traditional music concerts, and hands-on experiences such as Goryeo period costume wearing, pottery, horseback riding, and crafts. The festival also offers guided historical tours, evening fireworks, food trucks, and family-friendly activities, connected by the "RE-BORN" initiative that links this September event with the October Poetry Festival.
