This contemporary art festival perpetuates the spirit of 1970s artistic experimentation, when young artists dared challenge Korean establishment art conventions. Held at Gangjeong, site of Korea's first major collective art event in 1977, it presents over 25 artists and collectives exploring movement themes. The main exhibition (September-October) alternates with a special exhibition of Dalcheon studio resident artists, plus participatory workshops: 3D kinetic object creation, pixel block creations, and interactive installations. Musical and artistic performances punctuate programming throughout the festival.
