Gupona Ferry Festival of Nakdong River
낙동강 구포나루 축제
The 13th Gupona Ferry Festival, held October 16–18 at Hwamyeong Ecological Park, celebrates the history and culture of Gupona, once a major transportation hub on the Nakdong River. Themed around "Connecting, Playing, Meeting! Gupona," the festival features diverse programming combining performances, exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and local cuisine. Visitors can explore a recreated historic ferry terminal, taste Gupona noodles, engage in craft workshops, participate in ecological and wellness programs, and visit the Nakdong North Fair. Evenings come alive with the Gupona Song Contest, street performances, and after sunset, illuminated pathways, light gardens, and the "Starry Sea Busan" night markets. It's an opportunity to create memorable autumn memories with family and friends.
