This exhibition explores Daegu's rich history, a region that has experienced varied and dynamic development since the Paleolithic era. The Three Kingdoms period left diverse traces, particularly impressive tumuli—monumental burial mounds—scattered across multiple sites in the region. These grand tumuli mark the political center of Dalgubul, an ancient polity of the Daegu area. Running from November 24, 2026 to March 7, 2027, the exhibition uses recent archaeological findings, including results from excavations at the Dalseong cemetery and Guam cemetery, to systematically and thoroughly examine the culture of Dalgubul.
