The Art Spot Series: Free Chuseok Performances at the National Museum of Korea

The National Museum of Korea presents The ArtSpot series, a curated selection of intangible heritage performances. From September 24–27, six ensembles perform twice daily (1pm and 3pm, 50 minutes each). On September 24, the National Orchestra of Korean Music presents a blend of folk music and samulnori percussion with orchestral arrangements, followed by samulnori performers combining street dance and rural pansori traditions. September 26 features traditional improved taepyeongso, folk melody medleys, jazz piano, and vocal percussion. September 27 includes audience participation performances and a collaboration between Pansori master Kim Jun-soo and world music traditions. The museum is closed on Chuseok Day (September 25). Admission is free and no advance booking is required.
