About
The National Museum of Gongju opened on April 1, 1946, with the purpose of preserving and exhibiting the history and culture of Chungcheongnam Province, centered on Baekje culture at Wungjin. It features an exhibition hall themed on Baekje at Wungjin and an exhibition hall themed on the history and culture of Chungcheongnam Province. Various special exhibitions on diverse themes are also regularly held. In addition to exhibitions, the museum also conducts diverse cultural events and educational programs.
