Entering its thirteenth year, Seoul Design Week unfolds from October 14–25 around the theme "The Design Recipe." The DDP Design Fair transforms the concept "Market Full of Tastes" into a space where architects and emerging designers collaborate, enabling visitors to discover brands aligned with their own preferences. Exhibitions centered at DDP but radiating to dynamic neighborhoods like Seongsu and Hongdae showcase works by 100 contemporary Seoul designers, design processes from international studios, and pop-up goods exhibits featuring the "Seoul Next" identity. Two design market sessions (October 14–18 and 23–25) and satellite exhibitions in key design venues complete a program highlighting the global competitiveness and distinctiveness of Seoul design.

Korean municipalities fund a huge number of free festivals (flowers, food, light shows) — free entry is the norm, not the exception, sometimes with paid stalls or activities on site.

💡 Good to know
When a price shows as "see details", the organiser simply hasn't published one in advance: in almost all of those cases entry is free and only some on-site activities are paid. Bring a little cash — many stalls don't take cards.
