Dalgubeol: Connected Land, Unfolded World

달구벌達句伐, 이어진 터전, 펼쳐진 세계

This archaeological exhibition examines Daegu's dynamic history from the Paleolithic period onward, with special focus on the Three Kingdoms era when the region served as the political center of Dalgubeol. Running from November 24, 2026 to March 7, 2027, it comprehensively presents findings from excavations of the Dalseong and Guam-dong burial mound complexes. These large tumuli reveal the political and cultural significance of this ancient region, distinguished by its exceptionally large funerary monuments compared to other areas in Yeongnam.

🎟️ How to book — Official museum site

  1. 1

Check opening hours on the museum's official site

Many Korean national museums close one day a week, often Mondays — worth checking before you make the trip.

  2. 2

Book a time slot for the most popular exhibitions

The most anticipated temporary exhibitions sometimes limit access to online time-slot reservations, especially on weekends.

  3. 3

    Permanent collections are often free

Only certain special or temporary exhibitions charge admission — the permanent collection itself is free to enter at most national museums.

  4. 4

Book ahead for groups or guided tours

School groups and guided tours generally need to be booked directly with the museum ahead of the visit.
