This October festival in Danyang celebrates the legendary tale of General Ondal and Princess Pyeonggang from ancient Korea. Visitors witness an impressive ceremonial departure parade of General Ondal and victory processions, explore the historic Ondal Fortress, and experience Goguryeo-period life through a reconstructed ancient marketplace. Participation programs allow visitors to wear traditional Goguryeo clothing, engage in folk games, and experience agricultural culture. Memorial rituals for the general, traditional funeral dance performances, and immersive Goguryeo history create a vivid historical experience.
