춘천막국수닭갈비축제
A major gastronomic celebration, this festival honors Chuncheon's two culinary emblems: makguksu (chilled noodles) and dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken). Fifteen acclaimed dakgalbi restaurants (9,900 won per portion) and eight makguksu specialists (6,900 won per portion) welcome food lovers, while twenty-five local food merchants offer regional delicacies and sweets. A dedicated showcase of eight local distilleries presents excellent soju and traditional alcohols. The farmers' market offers fresh locally-grown produce. Performances by regional artists and prestigious guests, along with immersive games (photo booths, balance parks, augmented reality, sensory play, horseback riding experience, makguksu cooking workshop) delight all generations. Winding along the Chunggye River, this three-day celebration fuses gastronomic heritage, surrounding nature, and unforgettable tourist experiences.
