Gwacheon Performing Arts Festival
과천공연예술축제
Established in 1997 as Korea's first street theater festival, this annual event has evolved into a major performing arts celebration showcasing high-quality Korean and international outdoor and street theater performances. With over 100,000 spectators attending each year, the festival provides a platform for both domestic and international artists to experiment and innovate. The program features opening and closing performances, parades, official participating works, invited performances from across Asia, interactive experience workshops including makeup and circus arts, diverse vendor booths, food zones, and flea markets.
