함양산삼축제

Hamyang's wild ginseng, grown in germanium-rich soil above 500 meters, is prized for its dense structure and high saponin content. This festival, held each September to October at Sangnim Park, a designated natural monument, honors the heritage of wild ginseng and traditional ginseng hunters. Visitors can explore ginseng sales and exhibitions, participate in ginseng harvesting and auction experiences, enjoy concerts and local performances, and sample regional specialties at dedicated food zones throughout the festival grounds.
