The Uireung Richi Richi Festival celebrates Solbawi (Chaudron Rock), Uireung's iconic landmark, around themes of fortune and prosperity. An ancient legend tells of the greatest entrepreneurs being born within a 20 km radius of this rock in the Namgang River, a tale enriched when founders of Samsung, LG, and Hyosung were indeed born in the area. At its 5th edition, the festival invites visitors to experience and feel this good fortune through diverse activities, performances, and family programs: premium concerts, fragrance creation workshops, interactive job experience zones, arcade games, sports competitions, river cruises, and musical sing-along shows.
